Nick De La Hoyde – “Animals”

/

“Animals” is a sonorous pop effort from Nick De La Hoyde, a Sydney-based artist with a smooth vocal presence touting an R&B inclination. The aquatic pop production is accomplished alongside ZU/ZU on this track, which is a precursor to the artist’s forthcoming debut album, A Beautiful Mess. The production and video itself echoes summery vibes, with playful synths and serene vocals playing nicely.

“”Animals” is a song about love!” Nick says. “I wrote the song because I am constantly in awe of the unconditional love that I see in all animals, whether in the wild or the ones we are blessed to share our homes with! No matter what sort of day you have had, or how bad you are feeling, when you get home you are greeted with love and affection that puts a smile back on your face. Human beings can learn a lot from animals, and real, unconditional love is the biggest lesson your can learn from them and one that we should put into practice in our own lives.”

“Animals” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2019’ Spotify playlist.
