WALLA – “Lanes”

/

Los Angeles act WALLA released the catchy track “Lanes” today, showing a sound that incorporates suavely melodic vocals, guitars, and synths. “Lanes” pursues a hint of disco and funk in its heavy bass line, the rock-forward sections contrasting nicely with lush synth cuts, like at 02:35. The band has earned over 33 million Spotify streams to date for this infectious, accessible vein of synth-infused rock, particularly with tracks “101” and “Golden Nights.” “Lanes” continues their strong momentum thus far. It’s the type of track that’s quite fit to kick off a weekend.

“Lanes” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2019’ Spotify playlist.
