CRÈME – “Set Me Free”

“Set Me Free” is the latest electro-pop success from CRÈME, the project of Trixie Reiss. One of her most melodically addictive releases to date, the track gets going especially at the 50-second mark, which brings forth a wholly infectious hook conveying a whirring sense of exhilaration. Spirited vocal layers and buzzing synths pave the way here. A lusher verse follows before building back into the frenzied hook, simultaneously displaying CRÈME’s stylistic range and knack for hooky songwriting. CRÈME again shows consistency and hooky charm with “Set Me Free.”

“Set Me Free” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2019’ Spotify playlist.
