DOUBLECAMP – “Dreamers”

The vibrant “Dreamers” shows Nashville duo DOUBLECAMP’s impressive grasp of pop hooks and bright production. Aesthetically somewhere between Cut Copy and Hot Chip, “Dreamers” rides on conciely melodic vocals and synth/guitar interplay. A glistening bridge at the two-minute mark shows impressive, soaring vocals that ascend and build beautifully into the track’s conclusion. “Dreamers” is an impressive follow-up to the band’s debut track “Feel Like Me” in May.

The band says: “The song is about meeting someone and falling so hard, that you feel like your living in your own dreams. It was inspired by that experience and trying to paint that picture.”

“Dreamers” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Catchy Indie Pop.
