Aza Nabuko – “Fade Away”

/

The emotive “Fade Away” is a stirring track from Aza Nabuko, a 16-year-old multi-instrumentalist with a clear grasp for climactic song development. “Fade Away” is a ballad featuring delicate pianos, ruminating strings, and striking vocals. The third track on Nabuko’s new self-titled debut EP, released on JumpAttack Records, “Fade Away” does well in showcasing the artist’s talents and accompanying graceful production. The track’s second half does well in amping up the percussion and diversifying the string tones, coinciding with a more ardent vocal presence. The “watch you fade away,” climax at 04:15 is especially invigorating. “Fade Away” proves moving and well-produced.

“Fade Away” and other memorable tracks released in April 2019 can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of April 2019’ Spotify playlist.
