The Polar Boys – “INTRO”

/

Evident on just-released track “INTRO” is the fact that Miami-based act The Polar Boys produce a colorful, eclectic sound. The initial sound suggests a murky vein of rock. Quickly enough, a poppy key melody at the 27-second mark pushes forward a more pop-friendly feel. The band shows a polished brand of pop, with sporadic incorporation of guitar-based rock elements and rhythmic hip-hop pulls. In the rock spectrum, the conclusion’s “are you satisfied yet?” repetition resonates. The “I don’t really care too much,” vocal hook around the one-minute mark is also among many highlights, with backing wordless vocal emotion playing infectiously. “INTRO” contains an assortment of melodic golden nuggets.

“INTRO” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2019’ Spotify playlist.
