Boy Indigo – “April 1969”

/

Instrumental track “April 1969” eases us into the weekend with its lushly consuming qualities. Smooth brass, serene guitars, and a suave bass line lead this new release from Boy Indigo, a Northern California-based band that foregoes samples in favor of organic instrumentation. “April 1969” appears to be their first release. Conjuring the feeling of lush music playing in the distance as the sun sets on a beautiful beach, “April 1969” is an engaging success from Boy Indigo.

“April 1969” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2019’ Spotify playlist.
