We’re happy to premiere the very catchy “Heart of Elation,” a track from Evan Isaac. The Pittsburgh-based artist sports a bit of Todd Rundgren-esque charm in the vocals’ faultless alignment with the bouncy keys/synths. In terms of the synth work, with its bursting moments of variation and charisma, in alignment with the perky vocals, I’m also reminded of Of Montreal / Kevin Barnes. Regardless, Evan Isaac impresses here in various facets. There’s a flash of ominous synths, around 01:09, that plays with a mysteriously gripping allure. Elsewhere, vibrant and colorful synths mesh with escalating vocal charm, like at 01:25. I’m very excited to hear more from Evan Isaac.
