Stereo Specter – “Missing Time”

“Missing Time” is a catchy rocker from Stereo Specter, an act from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, led by local producer and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Dean. Blaring, melodic guitars accompany perky vocals and spacey synth uses, evoking the project’s referenced sci-fi inspirations. The “missing time,” vocal punch at each hook’s conclusion plays with a comforting, hooky allure. Straight to the point with its bursting guitars and melodic feel, “Missing Time” is an accessible delight from Stereo Specter, who I’m looking forward to hearing more from in the near future.

“Missing Time” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of December 2019’ Spotify playlist.
