Inspired by the David Lynch movie of the same name, “Blue Velvet” is a twangy, hypnotic groover from New Jersey-based singer/songwriter Machine Idle (Ryan Romanowski). Dubbed by the artist as “the most Beach Boys thing I’ve ever made and might ever make,” the track also features a video with lovely collage art.
