“As a bedroom producer, it was important to me that the song is close to home,” VVARD says. “Meaning it covers the right emotion and essence that describes how it feels to struggle with your identity and not having the right support system to fully be yourself. ‘In her shoes’ is an coming of age song. It creates a feel good sound, a road trip feel and she’s dreamy to the core.”
