Midnite Michael – “Enemy”

Press Photo by Dokk Savage Photography

“Enemy” touts excellent production and soulful vocals, evoking a nocturnal vein of electro-tinged R&B. The track is the latest from Midnite Michael, an Alabama-based voice actor, musician, and producer. The track’s eclectic nature results in various forms of nostalgia, from Outkast-esque hip-hop at the two-minute mark to moody synth-pop reminiscent of Depeche Mode, emerging via the buzzing synths and bell-like tones around 01:17. This is a melodically gripping and aesthetically consuming success from Midnite Michael.
