Advakit – “By Your Side”

Released today from Washington DC-based musician and producer Advakit, “By Your Side” is a hooky electro-pop standout. Pulsing, ’80s-friendly synths build to a memorable hook in the first minute. “If the world ended tonight, I’d go happy by your side,” the vocals admit during the rising chorus. The “meet again,” rise thereafter adds further excitement before the verses re-emerge. 02:30 sees a spirited, synth-forward bridge that provides some fun variety. “By Your Side” is a considerably well-produced and melodic success from Advakit.

“By Your Side” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Electro-Pop.
