Andrei Poliakov – “Declaration of Love”

/

“Declaration of Love” is a consuming new track from Switzerland-based musician Andrei Poliakov. The moonlight version presents a solo piano performance, while the sunshine version shows the same melody accompanied by the full arrangement. Touting an inventive classical sound that expands from jazzy beginnings to an electronic-tinted rise, the sunshine effort is especially consuming — touting a sophisti-pop vibe thanks to the jazzy rhythms and lush piano playing. Classical-inspired turns around 01:20 evolve steadily into a dramatic rise rounding the three-minute mark. In contrast, “Declaration Of Love In The Moonlight” is a passionate piano-driven piece with ample tonal variation and captivating rise/falls.

The release serves as a starting point for the forthcoming Moonlight & Sunshine album. Describing the album, the artist writes: “The music is taking the listeners away from the mundane routines, boredom, and dullness into the brightness of an imaginative world where love is omnipresent both under the light of Sun and Moon.”

“Declaration Of Love In The Sunshine” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2020’ Spotify playlist.
