Premiere: Pierrot – “Into the Light”

Releasing today, “Into the Light” is a gripping new track from Pierrot, showing a touching sound led by reverberating guitars and emotive strings. Thematically, “Into the Light’ aims to inspire light over darkness, aptly captured in the title-referencing chorus, and hope over defeat.

Strings and guitars converge for a chilling effect during the “into the light,” chorus. A bridge just past the two-minute mark finds serene piano and backing vocal delights, with a smooth guitar-based adornment thereafter lending a caressing feel. A tender string accompaniment combines with a yearning vocal tone to carry the track into a stirring conclusion. “Into the Light” is a stellar, consuming track from the Argentine-born, French-schooled, British singer/songwriter.

“Into the Light” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2020’ Spotify playlist.
