Party At the Pharmacy – “Losing You”

/

Norwegian duo Party At the Pharmacy show a pleasing sound on new track “Losing You,” a pop-forward effort with lush synth tones and string-based pulsations building to a soaring hook. “I thought you and me were meant to be,” the concise vocals sing before the chorus, where responsive vocal layers are accompanied by bright, soaring strings. Chiming guitars and serene synths establish a consuming bridge just after the two-minute mark, gliding nicely into another chorus thereafter. “Losing You” is a stellar output from Party At the Pharmacy. Look for the project’s new EP, Normal Things, in November.

“Losing You” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
