Addy Edward – “Too Hungry to Eat”

Touting shimmering guitars and vibrant vocal sections, “Too Hungry to Eat” succeeds in meshing acoustical folk-pop with electronic-minded production flourishes. The track comes from Addy Edward, a songwriter and producer based in New Haven, CT. The “escalating “I know,” vocal rise engages, with shimmering guitars around 02:17 hooking amidst the excitable vocal layering. The more restrained vocal sections are nicely matched by ruminating guitars, contrasting enjoyably with the more excitable nature of the ensuing chorus. Addy Edward shows as an excellent producer and songwriter with “Too Hungry to Eat.”

“Too Hungry to Eat” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2021’ Spotify playlist.
