Lord Sonny the Unifier – “I Love You World”

/

Brooklyn-based rocker Lord Sonny the Unifier impresses with “I Love You World,” a track bursting with rock-forward charisma. Parts prog-rock, psychedelia, and power-pop, the track’s structural ambition is commendable throughout. Various sections emerge surprisingly yet effectively. The two-minute mark sees a dark bridge with glistening piano and menacing vocals, seamlessly forming back into the earlier sound. Moments of expansive guitar, like 01:42, follow particularly melodic vocal sections with clever maneuvering. “I Love You World” is my favorite track from Sonny yet, impressing previously with “Right In Your I” and “The Starman.”

The track marks the fourth single release from All New Information, streaming below:

“I Love You World” and other memorable tracks from November can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2020’ Spotify playlist.
