Don’t Connect – “Burning Rubber in the Sun”

/

“Burning Rubber in the Sun” is a newly released track from Don’t Connect, a London-based collective. Audibly capturing summer vibes with suave vocals and beach-set guitar quaintness, the vocals maintain a laid-back, loose quality throughout. The one-minute mark unveils playful interaction among guitars, synths, and a dose of backing strings; the feeling here is quite fondly reminiscent of Beck. “Burning Rubber in the Sun” is an aesthetically consuming effort with enjoyably warm sensations, a thorough success from Don’t Connect.

“Burning Rubber in the Sun” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2021’ Spotify playlist.
