Harpool – “Dream”

A heady and psychedelic track from Portland, Oregon-based artist Harpool, “Dream” ponders upon the “surrealness of life” with an engrossing aesthetic pull. Quaint acoustical flickers and textured guitars lead initially, rising gradually into a more rock-forward sound as the three-minute mark approaches. The track journeys from psych-folk beginnings into an entrancing psych-rocking second half, all with a cohesive allure. “Dream” emphasizes strong songwriting and excellently diverse production from Harpool.

“Dream” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2021’ Spotify playlist.
