Paul Feder – “Lose My Mind”

/

From Paul Feder‘s newly released EP Nightwalk, “Lose My Mind” is a memorable synth-pop opener. The Brooklyn-based artist infuses sporadic guitar tones amidst an ongoing synth arpeggio and other synth-laden adornments. “I kind of want to lose my mind with you, but I’m afraid of what I’ll say or do,” Feder sings. The post-punk guitar tones rounding the two-minute mark play with entrancing qualities, helping drive to an escalating finale.

The track comes with a video, above, directed by Permian Strata and Paul Feder. The shifting color changes in the skies and elsewhere are visually stimulating, to say the least.

“Lose My Mind” and other memorable tracks from July 2021 can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2021’ Spotify playlist.
