The Kerosene Hours – “My Dirty Car”

The Kerosene Hours takes listeners to another memorably murky, suave soundscape on “My Dirty Car,” the latest from the Los Angeles-based project of Aaron Silverstein. Visions of a late-night drive, with a particularly Lynchian tint, are on display. A forceful vocal quiver is joined by guitar fragments and chilly synths, with several memorable synth-laden touches in the second half. “My Dirty Car” is another consuming highlight from The Kerosene Hours, consistently churning out late-night slices of surrealism.

“My Dirty Car” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2021’ Spotify playlist.
