A bright, soaring blend of folk and pop from Nashville-based artist Will Jackson, “Good Enough” is an accessibly melodic success. The track comes via his latest album, Songs From the Briarpatch. “If it’s good enough, well it’s good enough for me,” Jackson repeats throughout the bursting hook, complemented nicely by soulful backing vocals and organs. “We were doing 65 in the pouring rain,” he concludes, with a dazzle of piano and acoustics, setting up for a satiating conclusion. “Good Enough” emits anthemic, soaring feel-good vibes throughout, from an album with plenty of similar sunshine.
Jackson elaborates more on the album below:
“”Songs From the Briarpatch” came into fruition after falling in love with the exploding Americana genre in Nashville TN. There’s a little corner of music that’s always inspired me; not too heavy, not too soft, great melodies, and most importantly a heavy emphasis on well written, thoughtful songwriting. After playing in various bands and trying to achieve this sound on a few projects, I feel that I’ve put out a release that truly reflects the artist that I am, and want to develop. I’m grateful for anyone who listens and resonates with these songs.”
