A bursting electro-pop anthem, “Mr. Ciao” is a new track from Sines, featuring Christina Siravo. Sines, the project of Portland, OR-based artist and producer Jason Wann, provides an exciting production alongside Siravo’s spirited vocal work. The glistening synth arps cast an Italo-disco feeling, with the vocals exuberantly progressing in a more contemporary pop mold. Wann apparently agrees with sentiments like “don’t bore us, get to the chorus,” — and this track, with its immediate electro-pop punch and memorably pulsating central hook, is enjoyably indicative of that.
