Tetra Collective – “Already Unsure”

///

Propelled by infectious keys and guitars, “Already Unsure” is a replay-inducing track from Tetra Collective, a quartet from Long Beach, CA. Ethereal keys and trickling guitars give way to suavely retrospective vocals, emitting themes of self-discovery. “I want you to myself, I don’t want nobody,” the vocals rise into the sweetly melodic chorus, pleading to “live a life you’ve always wanted.” Twangy guitars kickstart the standout “watch the sky passing by,” bridge, gearing into a guitar-fronted hook with title-referencing charm. “Already Unsure” has its standout songwriting and twinkling production on display throughout; this is a resonating success from Tetra Collective.

“Already Unsure” marks the second single from the quartet’s upcoming album. They elaborate further on the track’s themes below:

“This song is about letting go of all your fears that hold you back from enjoying life to the fullest. It’s a reminder that we don’t have time to dwell on our past, so we should enjoy our time here in the present. The sweet and emotional melodies engraved throughout the song supports the lyrics and vocal melodies to paint the picture of new beginnings. We hope you enjoy this tune as much as we enjoyed creating it!”

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2022’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
