The Great Inferno‘s new track “Stone, Blood And Whispers” is a suavely enveloping rocker. The Italian act craft a hypnotic, subdued sound led by reverbed guitar pulses and Blodio’s restrained vocals. Michele’s drums add a steady backbone, centering the resonating guitar distortion past the two-minute mark, as Blodio repeats “surfin’ my flag of stone, blood and whispers,” into an atmospheric guitar-fronted bridge.
