Scott Goldbaum – “Incremental”

//

“Incremental” is a captivating track from Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Scott Goldbaum, off his new EP, Protector. Per Goldbaum, the EP “follows a vulnerable character who’s in need of protection as he becomes the protector of others.” Specifically, “Incremental” serves as “a mediation to stay on the course of progress and empowerment, despite the shadows that closely follow.”

The ghostly guitars and eerie vocals craft an atmospheric spell throughout the moving track, expanding in the second half with spine-chilling results as the strings emerge. “You could be seated on the floor,” the vocals let out during this section, with ravishing strings and haunting acoustics intertwining gorgeously. Scott Goldbaum’s “Incremental” is a brief yet powerful production, filled with mystique.
