Weird Roach – “I Don’t Know”

/

Engrossing with a sound whose nocturnal development reminds of Radiohead, “I Don’t Know” is a new track from Weird Roach, a project formed out of Santa Ana, California in 2018.

A cut from the project’s new EP, “I Don’t Know” commences on industrial percussive tones and sporadic guitar pulses. A brooding bass line joins the creaky and understated vocals, compelling into gentle guitar-led hypnotics past the one-minute turn. From here, space synth tones ease into weary vocal refrains, with the moody guitars and twinkling keys continuing to concoct an atmospheric delight.
