“Your Present” is a suave, enveloping single from DIA LUNA. The Sacramento native recorded this stylish effort at Vice and Virtue Studios, conjuring a sound full of climactic rock/pop intertwining. Mystique-filled vocals and buzzing synth spurts lead into moody guitar accompaniments, developing steadily into a thumping rhythmic pulse during the finale. The suave vocals find distant, reflective accompaniments in this final section, with the “I used to be your present,” line adding to the haunting soundscape.
