Dylan Seeger – “Like Meeting Eyes with Strangers”

//

NYC-based artist Dylan Seeger shows a vibrant folk-driven sound on the catching track “Like Meeting Eyes with Strangers.” A steady folk-forward drive emanates throughout the first half, with a satiating escalation in the finale. The track’s “you were a stranger to me then,” vocal rise envelops with vigor, with the ensuing “strangers,” vocal work engaging amidst the hypnotic guitar twangs that drive to a stellar conclusion.

The track comes via Seeger’s new album, Moon House, described as “a skeptic’s love letter to humanity in our age of isolation”:

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2023’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
