Noshows – “Tired Eyes”

/

Pulsing pop success “Tired Eyes” is the latest from Noshows, a quickly ascending band from NYC. Led by producer and songwriter Max Satow, Noshows expanded from a solo project into a full band last year, garnering praise for performances at venues like Arlene’s Grocery, Bowery Electrics, and Baby’s All Right. Their latest track blends dazzling synths and anthemic vocal dynamics amidst the sharply melodic songwriting.

“Tired Eyes” exudes a feeling of pop grandiosity from the get-go. A bouncy bass line and vibrant vocal variety leads the peppy enamoring, with the buzzing bass working into the “6AM,” rush and swift Phoenix-esque guitar lines. “Find a place to rest your eyes,” the vocals let out during the irresistible central hook, bolstered particularly well approaching the second minute, with a gliding guitar-laden playfulness.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2023’ Spotify playlist.
