Chris Portka – “wildlife [instrumental jam]”

/

Bay Area-based artist Chris Portka unleashes a striking sound with “wildlife [instrumental jam],” evolving from noise-rock ruminations into a passionate array of dexterous guitars with creeping, climactic qualities. Releasing ahead of Portka’s upcoming album trash music, out in August, the track is a brief yet exciting showcase of the artist’s textural strengths and escalating structural tendencies. The build from swampy buzzing into expressive movement proves wholly compelling.

trash music will be released as a limited 250 edition vinyl run, alongside a collection of NFT music videos with prominent visual and glitch artists such as ??.??’?, KenjiXOP, and others.
