“One Lion” is an inventive art-rock collaborative single from Nepali-American singer/songwriter Sid Rai and San Diego-based multi-instrumentalist SaxSouljah.
Rumbling bass and free-flowing percussion intrigue from the get-go, venturing into bluesy guitar lonesomeness prior to the one-minute turn. Thereafter, wordless vocal immersion lingers alongside the invigorating guitar work, maintaining a suavely stylish composure. The second-half saxophone addition sends chills alongside the ascending vocal passion, concluding “One Lion” with captivating appeal.
