Jordan Hamilton – “Roses”

Michigan-based cellist and songwriter Jordan Hamilton enthralls on new track “Roses,” venturing from quaint cello plucking into a lushly enveloping soundscape with R&B appeal.

The vibrant, eclectic production accompanies themes portraying “the highs and lows of the journey toward fulfillment and self-discovery.” The bustling introduction eases into a dreamy intrigue; twinkling keys and chilly strings join with haunting vocals for a compelling atmospheric construction, then adorned by gorgeous vocal layers. “Roses” is a standout showcase from Hamilton.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
