Flat Pop – “I Am Brad Pitt”

//

Serene guitar jangles exude a breezily melodic charm across “I Am Brad Pitt,” a hooky rock single from Flat Pop, representing the fourth single from the project of Jave Foster. A synth-touched mid-point enamors into a bass-y thumping for added momentum, sitting in between an infectious array of concise guitar strums and soaring vocal charm, certainly capturing a sound fondly reminiscent of The Strokes.

Flat Pop describes the release as “an unapologetic breakup song about a recent toxic relationship which reflects on the immense amount of empowerment that is experienced when you take charge of your life and choose to love Yourself.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
