Justin Sconza – “View of London”

/

A pleasantly melodic single from Chicago-based artist Justin Sconza, “View of London” comes via his new album Campfire. The full-length spans from the debonair rock drive of “There’s That Sound” to the throwback pop direction of “Later On,” and “View of London” succeeds with a warming approachability in the folk and pop realms — celebrating still having the whole day ahead, amidst frolicking piano and sturdy acoustics. Depicted jaunts — a stop at the pub, and drawing pictures of things one encounters — are enjoyably easy-going lyrical accompaniments, fitting enjoyably within the piano-friendly folk/pop embedding.
