Cole Crawford – “Memories of You”

/

Connecticut-based solo artist Cole Crawford presents a dreamy, jangly allure on new single “Memories of You.” Crawford describes the release as being “inspired emotionally by memories of past close friends.” The “all I want is you,” yearning dazzles with the jangling guitars and mellow vocal entrancement combining with hypnotic effect, fondly reminding of The Stone Roses. “Memories of You” succeeds in its warming, hypnotic qualities throughout, taking lovable inspiration from “dream pop bands with bright guitars and lofi drum machines,” per Crawford.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
