In Our Sea – “When You Kissed Me I Went Numb”

/

Austin-based artist In Our Sea engages on new single “When You Kissed Me I Went Numb.” Playful synths and steady rhythms guide into the “touch me one more time,” expanse, with enjoyably strumming guitars emanating beneath.

“When you pushed me off that bridge,” the verses kickstart with enjoyable momentum, hitting hard at the one-minute mark’s hooky unveiling — strutting a title-touting glow and “I know you’re scared,” acknowledgement. The emotive vocal tone and guitar-laden drive reminds fondly of Bright Eyes, aesthetically. “When You Kissed Me I Went Numb” is a memorable showing from In Our Sea, capped off enjoyably by twangy guitars and squiggly synth intertwining.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
