GIRLS NIGHT – “Xenon”

/

“Xenon” is a sleek electro-pop production from Nashville-based collective GIRLS NIGHT. “A song to take you back to the good old days,” an opening radio frequency emanates, driving seamlessly into a yearning “miss the way you used to say my name,” vocal with driving synth invigoration. The “set these streets on fire,” bridge is grippingly climactic, ensuing in the “running away,” hookiness — dazzling with its synth and guitar interplay. Electro-pop, rock, and funk influences intertwine with cohesive enthrallment on this gem from GIRLS NIGHT, who crafted the song using “sounds from the Jupiter-X and blended them with Logic Pro.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Electronic.
