A jangly guitar shift past the one-minute turn aligns with a more soaring vocal entrancement, exemplary of that aforementioned dreaminess. A heavier, post-punk feeling emanates via the sturdy rhythms about a minute thereafter. A ghostly, wordless backing sends chills in the final minute. “w monochromie” continuously dazzles in its shifts between lushly absorbing and invigorating intrigue.
