Ira Ellison – “Little Cracks”

/

A warming folk introspection takes hold on “Little Cracks,” a recent track from Ira Ellison. Lyrical perspectives of feeling “like a little kid,” prove relatable, in the context of adulthood’s tumult. “Couldn’t keep up with the people / They’re my age, they seem older, I’m still scared,” Ellison’s ethereal vocals admit, moving seamlessly within a gorgeous blend of piano and acoustics. The ruminations on growing older, and personal growth, prove fully resonating throughout.

“Little Cracks is a song I wrote and recorded in as honest and pure a way as possible, embracing the human aspect of creativity,” Ellison says. “This song is about embracing the little cracks in our lives and relationships, as this is what sometimes makes things beautiful.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
