Los Angeles-based band Fwango achieve a radiant rock and power-pop cohesion on new single “Consequences.” Riveting guitar work, catchy vocal lines, and a continuous sense of structural momentum enamor throughout the standout single, which was recorded with Wil ‘Greazy’ Anspach and mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Cian Riordan.
“All the consequences are creeping up on me,” the vocals lament alongside a peppy rock charm, then traversing into a hazier “getting into trouble” admission as the fuzzy verses come into view. The introspective, dazed vocals and clanging guitar/bass interplay compel into another title-centric hook — “…is of no consequence.” The track excels in its vibrant, replay-inducing charm.
