A delectably moody synth-pop success from Los Angeles-based artist Madeline Goldstein, “Apogee” balances late-night electronic introspection with infectious dancefloor-set vibrancy — complemented with a neon-lit intrigue as glistening synths, throbbing bass, and twangy guitars assemble for a stylish sound. Goldstein’s vocals are a riveting presence throughout as well, maneuvering seamlessly from recollecting “a sound I can’t recall” in the initial verses’ mystique — asking “were you ever there at all?” as the rhythms intensify and move gradually into an emotive, punchy “here at all” danceability.
The track represents the second single from Goldstein’s upcoming full-length set, to be released in late 2025 by Artoffact Records. Based on the fantastic, atmospheric “Apogee” we’re certainly anticipating that album.
