Eclectic Whiz introduces Screaming. Casting. Bleating. (S.C.B.), a Bandcamp-exclusive EP built from three inventive takes on the single “Enough, Saturn!” and its captivating sound. While the single and its full version highlight the track’s dramatic core, S.C.B. pushes it further—fracturing it into siren, witch, and goat personas. The result is a playful yet menacing experiment in sound and identity, reflecting the evolving artistry of Istanbul-born, LA-based creator Ismihan Nazli Suzer.
Opening the EP and reflective of “screaming” artistry, “Enough, Saturn (siren version)” exudes a menacing enthrallment in its evolution from solemn vocal introspections to buzzy synth pulses and expressive “what about that?” questioning. “I will go through transformation, I’m already in one,” the vocals continue with theatrical immersion. “Thanks, Saturn,” the addressing to a cosmic entity flows, attaining a glistening pop enamoring in the gripping “enough” refrain. The track’s dynamic grip continues to stir as a hip-hop vocal ferocity compels in the “karma is imminent” sequence, tonally showing shades of Janelle Monae. A mixture of spacey pop, hip-hop intensity, and electronic intrigue continues throughout.
The ensuing “Enough, Saturn (witch version)” embraces “casting” energy in its ghostly spell, enveloping especially during a final minute where nocturnal synths and riveting vocal haunts make for an aptly witch house-y charm. Meanwhile, the concluding “Enough, Saturn (goat version)” is reflective of “bleating” and similarly excels in its climactic synth buzzes, eclectic vocals, and soaring art-pop conclusion. All three tracks convey enjoyable artistry both separately in the EP and as a full version. With S.C.B., Eclectic Whiz turns one song into three distinct worlds, each charged with theatrical force and genre-bending imagination.
