A compelling new track from Seibiant‘s forthcoming EP, Hypnotizer, “Out of Phase” fuses post-punk and rock with a delectably dark tint. The Barcelona-based band compel with a sense of momentum throughout, from the initial moody guitar interplay and steady rhythmic pulse into fervent vocal expressions.
“I’m just trying to stray the line,” the vocals admit initially amidst a post-punk bass allure, then expanding with cohesive enthrallment as bursting guitars combine with the “now we’re spinning out of phase” hooky vigor. “Out of Phase” is a standout success from Seibiant.
