White Noise Lovers – “Same Song, Different Ghost”

/

A suave rock grip takes hold on “Same Song, Different Ghost,” a dynamic success of a single from White Noise Lovers. “We sang the same song on a different day,” smooth vocals let out to start. “Same chords, but the ghost won’t stay.” The rhythm section comes into greater view as the debonair vocals exude “and the tape don’t lie, but it won’t rewind” in continuing to allude to hauntings within the studio, though with creativity and ardency persisting nonetheless.

The invigorating title-touting segment enthralls in its bluesy, fervent vocal call — punctuated by the “you don’t knock at my door” soaring and thrilling guitar work. A soulful, subdued conclusion then moves in with sating impact. “Same Song, Different Ghost” consistently dazzles in its eclectic range between scorching-hot rock passion and ghostly, subdued intrigue — making for a wholly memorable success from White Noise Lovers.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
