Sehore – “Bla bla bla (cha cha cha)”

Spanish rockers Sehore tout a rock sound that spans from psych-friendly hypnotics to grooving immediacy, melding calypso, tango, and a variety of other elements with enjoyable cohesion. We featured their album Husfikbur a few weeks ago, noting its dynamic rock allure — and amongst its highlights is “Bla bla bla (cha cha cha).”

Twangy guitars and thumping rhythms complement a playful vocal captivation — catchily repeating “bla bla bla” as the guitars exude a cinematic, rockabilly feeling at points. More raspy vocal inflections take hold as the one-minute turn approaches, adding an enjoyably foreboding element to the mix.

The vocal dynamics — ranging from the dreamy intrigue to the darker tonal shift — combine with the jangling guitars and head-nodding rhythms for a track that easily entices replays. Husfikbur consumes as a whole with its consistently quality songwriting and eclectic tonal turns, and “Bla bla bla (cha cha cha)” plays as an approachable success within it all that melds psychedelic momentum with vibrant bounciness.
