Love, Sophie – “Call You”

A beautifully woozy, late-night sound consumes on “Call You,” the latest standout track from Los Angeles-based artist Love, Sophie. “I try to call you,” her vocals ring out with heartfelt yearning as slight twangy guitars bolster the gentle soundscape, rising from the subdued key glistening and serene guitar swaying in the verses. The “need you tell me it’s all in my head” segment is especially dazzling, seeing an uptick in vocal vibrancy and twinkling illumination, then shifting back into the gorgeous title-bearing refrain.

“Call You” is a single from her upcoming EP, and follows previously featured standout tracks like “Blush” and “Cherry Pie.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
