A dynamic rock and pop hybrid, beckoning to make the most out of life, “There’s A Thousand Mountains!” is a memorable track from NYC-based artist Myles Nuzzi. A climactic, sweltering rock captivation is immediately apparent. Scorching guitar twangs and stirring organs complement a soulful vocal presence, admitting to being in a state of isolation — though entirely content in being alone. “Gotta reach the mountaintops, gotta do it all alone!” Nuzzi’s fierce vocals continue, then shifting cohesively into a piano-laden alt-pop charisma.
“I’m running out of time,” his vocals then attain a soaring, theatrical pop allure. The production’s final minute dazzles as well, infusing the theatrical pop heights with the impassioned initial rock entrancement. “There’s A Thousand Mountains!” is a thorough success from Myles Nuzzi, succeeding from sweltering bluesy beginnings to catchy pop smarts.
Nuzzi elaborates on the track:
“Think “Bohemian Rhapsody” ambition filtered through earnest New York City apartment-cabin-fever: I wrote it in a darker, stuck season as an antidote to my own “all talk, no action” spiral, and how sometimes the person most suited to help you achieve your dreams is yourself! It’s for city walks, road trips, working out, pregame adrenaline, and the moment you decide you’re done circling the same thoughts and you actually go do the thing.”
