Bob Infinite – “Flying Across Water”

NYC-based artist Bob Infinite shows a powerful sound within new single “Flying Across Water,” expanding from spacious lushness to fuzzy bursts of vocal emotion. Themes of struggle, release, and transcendence resonate within the dynamic soundscape, with the artist’s vocals adjusting seamlessly as the layered atmospherics alternate in intensity.

“Flying across the water / Swimmin’ in the air” his vocals open, following the initial elegance with ample intrigue as fuzzy textures culminate in a cathartic “I find myself next you” vocal entrancement. There, twangy, free-flowing guitars move with radiant appeal. The vocal presence at midpoint — anthemic in its “I’m seein’ what I’m feelin'” visceral captivation — enthralls especially, as does the dreamy atmospheric fade-out. “Flying Across Water” is an enveloping success from Bob Infinite.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
